A FABULOUS/FASCINATING/FUN FACT ABOUT THIS PLACE:
IT'S AMAZING! MY HOME :)

HOW EVER DID I GET HERE?
Direct flight from Samoa!

WHERE DID I STAY?
Polynesian Beach Club! like I always do!

THE AGE OLD QUESTION: HOW WAS THE WEATHER?
Perfection!

WHAT DID I SEE HERE AND WHAT DID I DO?
I slept a lot. Being on vacation had exhausted me. I spent some time at Seattle's Best Coffee drinking beverages and visiting Erol. Went to the beach of course. Swam. Saw Marcio! Layed in the hammocks a lot.

ANY RESTAURANTS, SHOPS, HOSTELS, PEOPLE ETC WORTH MENTIONING?
Ate at Mac 24/7 Bar and Restaurant. So good. So full. So much food.

FAVORITE MEMORY FROM MY TIME HERE:
EVERYTHING! I LOVE it here so much. It was great to see Erol and Marcio again. Love that there are still people hanging in there, living the dream!!

WOULD I EVER COME BACK HERE IF I HAD THE CHANCE OR WOULD I RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND OR FELLOW TRAVELER? :)
Yes! I would come back here and stay here forever if I could. And I think everyone should make an effort to get here at least once in their lives!

NOTABLE NOTES:

Landed back in time in Hawaii. For real. Left Samoa Saturday morning and got to Hawaii Friday morning. Score! Almost didn't get on my flight thought because the dud, yes dud, working the ticket counter in Samoa for Air Pacific was adamant that I needed to have an onward flight from Hawaii booked. We argued for a bit and he threatened to call US Immigration and I said Okay. So he did and I was right. Win!
I barely slept on the 5.5 hour flight over and spent the next week trying to catch up.
I barely did anything the entire week I was there. Sunk into a routine of sleeping in, drinking coffee, laying in a hammock, going to the beach, swimming and tanning. Oh, I also shopped. Probably too much... When I wasn't doing any of those things I was catching up with friends. Bonus to my Oahu time was the present Steve left behind at the hostel for me. A purse - yes, the man shopped!- mini-oreos, and half a bottle of shampoo. A good surprise indeed. :)
